C++ ABI Summary -- 5 August meeting

Note that we've added two people with heavy g++ involvement
to the mail alias: Mark Mitchell from CodeSourcery and Martin
von Loewis from Humboldt-Universitaet Berlin. Could the two
of you please provide me with phone/FAX numbers? (Actually,
I don't seem to have Daveed's, either, nor the HP FAX info...)

Attached are versions of the status pages updated based on
yesterday's meeting. Please check the descriptions of recently
closed items for correctness and clarity. Also, take a look at
issue A-11. Although we agreed to close it, a minor improvement
occurred to me -- let me know if it has problems.

Following are the items still open from last week's list, plus
a couple new ones:

Daveed
------

AI-13, A-6, B-8: Describe RTTI representation, dynamic cast.

Jim
---

AI-17, B-6: Rewrite Christophe's Vtable layout description as an
	exercise to identify any holes.

AI-19, C-3: Write up precise destructor proposal.

Priti
-----

AI-12: Describe the Intel C++ exception handling model.
AI-5: Set up N-way NDA if necessary to discuss it.

All
---

B-6: Describe your RTTI representation.

F-x: In anticipation of mangling discussions, please help by (a)
identifying what needs to be mangled, and (b) describing any
mangling/compression scheme(s) you think we should consider.
      (I have started a list in F-1.)
