I would say it is very probable, but I don't think it will be
in the first batch of extensions that will pass.  (Fwiw, the
first batch will probably include decltype(...) and "extern
template".)

I believe Bjarne is in favor of the proposal (it is a refinement
of an idea he worked on with Martin O'Riordan a while back), and
so are some other people I've talked to.  The issues are mostly
syntactic.
