C++ ABI Summary

Attached are updated documents based on last week's meeting (but
not yet new material).  Note new room and phone reservations in
the summary page (the phone # changes after 19 August).

I closed B-2 and C-8 based on meeting decisions.  Please check them.

The fourth attached page is the writeup I promised on object layout.
I think it's precise now -- please verify that it says what you
expected.  Note that it lists three choices for the placement of
empty bases.  Please think about them, and we'll discuss them
Thursday.


Sassan -- you were going to give us a title/author for the Taligent
book.

Priti -- you were going to send the exception handling writeup.

All -- HP has requested that we stop redistributing the runtime
conventions document.  They are making changes, and will re-post
it (soon, I think) and let us know.
