Moving on

Greetings,

I believe that we are essentially done, with no outstanding issues
that must be solved, and with minimal editorial work to do.  Of course,
with implementations still underway, additional issues will probably
arise.  The web pages on our site (PDF and HTML) are up-to-date with
the recent changes and discussions (though I haven't had access to
email this weekend).  The next "normal" meeting time would be
Thanksgiving, and clearly won't happen.  We have a meeting scheduled
for 7 December, though we don't expect to hold it if nothing comes up.

As of Monday, I am leaving SGI, and moving to Transmeta.  As a result,
I will no longer be representing SGI on this ABI group.  We have
not yet determined who will be, but Chandrasekhar Murthy,
murthy at engr.sgi.com, is a likely candidate.  Please address SGI questions
to Murthy or to Ross Towle, rat at sgi.com.  For the next couple of weeks,
Ross is on vacation, and George Pirocanac can cover for him,
georgep at engr.sgi.com.

I've enjoyed working with this group -- it's been a very cooperative
and productive one, I think.  My "permanent" email address is
dehnertj at acm.org, and my new work email will be dehnert at transmeta.com.
I remain interested in the ABI, and will continue on the mail alias.
If the effort remains minor, and no one else wants to take over, I can
probably continue to update documents.  But if someone volunteers to
take this on, that would be great.
